Installation and current restrictions

Use suitable connectors and backflow protection, check for leaks, and isolate the tap before changing fittings. A smart timer does not create an exemption from a hosepipe ban. Follow the current notice from your water company and provide manual oversight for plants that could be harmed by a missed cycle.
